Meet the Class Monday – Sean Riley
 
Sean Riley is currently the Deputy Chief of the Framingham Police; he has held the role since January 2021. Sean is a 31-year veteran of law enforcement, serving with the Framingham Police since November 2001, Winthrop Police (1996 – 2001), and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department (1993 – 1998). As the Operations Deputy, Sean oversees Patrol, Detective’s, Support Services, Crime Analyst, Strike Team, as well as any sub-units that fall under their commands. In addition to his primary roles, Sean currently serves on the steering committee for the Behavioral Health Partners of MetroWest, and Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line. Sean has also served with Framingham Community Connections, The Alliance for MetroWest Unity, and Downtown Framingham Inc. Sean has received numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career. Sean has his master’s in public administration from Framingham State University (‘23), and is a proud member of the Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi.

Meet the Class Monday – Melinda Proctor
 
Melinda has been with Middlesex Savings Bank since 2019 and currently holds the role of Community Banking Officer, Branch Manager II of the Hopkinton Branch. Throughout her time at Middlesex, she has held various roles within the Hopkinton Branch. She has also participated in several volunteer events that have directly benefited the community through Middlesex Savings Bank. Melinda has been an active member of the Hopkinton Lion’s Club since 2022 and has helped organize various fundraisers and events for the organization. During her spare time, she enjoys camping with her husband and their dog while exploring new trails in New Hampshire.
We’re still flying high after last week’s Academy Day visits to @massbayview’s new Framingham campus and to the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center! Thank you to our incredible hosts, MassBay President David Podell and EMKCHC staff member Courtney Pelley (Class of 2023), for allowing us to use your institutions as case studies as we discussed public health and healthcare access in MetroWest.
