The Leadership MetroWest Rising Leaders program is for people with 2-8 years professional experience in the public, private, and municipal sectors who are eager to understand and develop their leadership potential. Participants will build the tools, confidence, relationships, and perspectives needed to emerge as leaders in their workplaces and communities.

Participating in Rising Leaders offers a enlightening, curated, and impactful 
opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The Program:

  • Rising Leaders is a six-month learning journey that includes:
  • 1) Skills-based lessons designed to develop strong leadership foundations
  • 2) Testing and assessments to identify your strengths, values, communication style, and emotional intelligence
  • 3) A safe, supportive place to practice and gain confidence
  • 4) One-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals
  • 5) An introduction to servant leadership and the civic leaders who are moving MetroWest forward
Leadership is a lot like a muscle--the more you use it, exercise it, and work on it, the stronger it becomes, and the better it functions.
The best training programs for muscles and leaders start with the same things: strong foundations and good plans. 
Through Rising Leaders, participants gain the self-awareness, perspectives, and essential tools they need to begin leading with confidence, authenticity, and impact. 
Along the way, they are introduced to the vibrant network of civic-minded leaders who are impacting and driving our region forward--and who will help them on their journey.
Many continue by joining Leadership MetroWest's Leadership Academy.
